About Atlantis
Atlantis wasn’t built in a day. This mythical resort city was a massive undertaking that took four years to complete. Surrounded by Paradise Island’s unspoiled natural scenery, the 154-acre property transformed several declining hotels and tired casinos in the area into the luxury all-inclusive complex and waterpark we know today.
Atlantis officially opened in 1998 when construction for the 12,000 room Royal Towers completed in the current palace-style design. Although The Coral Towers and The Beach Tower were built first, they did not match final Atlantis Resort appearance and were renovated after the completion of the Royal Towers.
