Have a long layover at Toronto Pearson Airport? Or perhaps you have some time to kill before your flight? What if we told you that you could be spending that time getting in a workout, relaxing in a massage chair, or taking advantage of the amenities like a shower to freshen up?
Today Goodlife Fitness has officially opened a club at Toronto Pearson's Terminal 1, making it the first ever in-airport location for Goodlife. Scheduled to be open every day from 4:00 am to 11:30 pm, the fitness club will serve passengers and guests, either those with a regional membership that covers the airport, an all-access membership, or those who pay for a $15 day pass.
36 Million people come through Toronto Pearson every year, and the new club has thought of everything when it comes to keeping the traveller in mind. You can store your luggage, rent Reebok workout apparel (including shoes!) and have access to some of the best workout equipment before or after your flight.
Many travellers agree that they want to be productive while they are travelling and continue to lead active lives. Working out while travelling has many incredible benefits such as, reducing stress; improving the flight experience by ensuring that your muscles are relaxed and energized; and combating fatigue and jetlag.
