Have a long layover at Toronto Pearson Airport? Or perhaps you have some time to kill before your flight? What if we told you that you could be spending that time getting in a workout, relaxing in a massage chair, or taking advantage of the amenities like a shower to freshen up?

Today Goodlife Fitness has officially opened a club at Toronto Pearson's Terminal 1, making it the first ever in-airport location for Goodlife. Scheduled to be open every day from 4:00 am to 11:30 pm, the fitness club will serve passengers and guests, either those with a regional membership that covers the airport, an all-access membership, or those who pay for a $15 day pass.

36 Million people come through Toronto Pearson every year, and the new club has thought of everything when it comes to keeping the traveller in mind. You can store your luggage, rent Reebok workout apparel (including shoes!) and have access to some of the best workout equipment before or after your flight.

Many travellers agree that they want to be productive while they are travelling and continue to lead active lives. Working out while travelling has many incredible benefits such as, reducing stress; improving the flight experience by ensuring that your muscles are relaxed and energized; and combating fatigue and jetlag.

Working out before or after your flight can have a tremendous impact on how you feel both physically and mentally when you reach your final destination”  -David “Patch” Patchell-Evans, GoodLife Founder & CEO

Amenities at the new facility include Cardiovascular Equipment with Personal Viewing Screens,  Strength Training Equipment and Free Weights, Luggage Storage, Lounge Area with Massage Chairs, Modern Change Rooms with Private Showers and Lockers, and Towel Service.

This innovative partnership between Canada's largest fitness company and Canada's largest airport demonstrates an incredible investment in the health and well-being of individuals travelling in and out of Toronto.

"Maintaining a good lifestyle makes you a better traveller. We're thrilled that not only will this gym benefit travellers, but also the 40,000 employees that work at Pearson." - Howard Eng, GTAA President and CEO

With over 300 clubs across the country, GoodLife's purpose is to give every Canadian the opportunity to live a fit and healthy life. Providing a convenient opportunity for travellers and airport employees is another important step to help GoodLife achieve this goal.
