Picking the right cruise line and ship can be just as important as your destination when planning your cruise vacation. Megan shares why Royal Caribbean’s mega ship the Allure of the Seas has something to keep everyone happy:

Cruising has always been my passion and I absolutely love the feeling of cruising in the open seas. I felt very fortunate to be one of the first to sail on the brand new Royal Caribbean Allure of the Seas. Just when you think there could be no possible way to pack in anymore outstanding entertainment on a cruise ship, Royal Caribbean steps up and does it again with their Oasis class ships.

The Allure of the Seas offers so many options for entertainment that there is always something for everyone, which makes it a fantastic choice for vacationing; whether it’s a family holiday, a honeymoon, a singles getaway, or an action packed family reunion.

As we were only onboard for two nights, I wish I could have experienced all that this incredible ship had to offer but I did focus on packing in as much entertainment as possible.

We took advantage of the opportunity to get a sneak-peek at the new AquaTheatre show; a high flying, deep diving, action packed show with a cirque feeling combination of acrobatics and impressive high dives. They also have fountain shows at the Aqua Theatre where the fountains are set to music and create a beautiful musical production that captures your attention.

The new pairing of Royal Caribbean and Dreamworks is a fantastic grouping that has turned what were always wonderful ice productions into spectacular displays of story-telling on ice with characters from Dreamworks production of How to train your Dragon. Whether you are 2 years old or 82 years old, this ice show brings out the child in everyone.

The main production theatre was host to what became one of my most favorite shows on the ship. The ventriloquist Ronn Lucas performed an outstanding show that could make even the most skeptical critics believe that his puppets come alive.

From carousels in the day to the casinos and comedy club at night, you can keep yourself entertained 24/7 or sit back relax and spend your days by the pool.

After dinner, you can enjoy a Dreamworks parade down the Promenade, take in one of the amazing shows and then dance the night away in one of the many bars and clubs the ship has to offer.

Whether you are thinking of cruising for the very first time, or if you're an avid cruiser, Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas has something for you.
