Ghanaians are some of the friendliest people you’ll meet and children are always welcome and well catered for. Kids will have a ball splashing in the Atlantic Ocean beaches and they will marvel in the world heritage castles standing tall along the coastline. In and around the city there’s loads to do, from burning energy on public playgrounds and wandering the markets to engaging in a spot of arts and crafts. There’s even go-karting and mini golf!

High season runs from December to March, when the city really comes alive with food and music festivals. The driest months to visit are between November and March, while April to October is traditionally the wet season. June generally records the highest rainfalls of the wet season.
