Qatar Airways Flights

Passengers have a choice of up to three quality classes of service; First, Business and Qatar’s award winning Economy Class. While First Class cabins are only offered on certain aircraft types and routes, first class service comes with every seat in every cabin. Qatar Airways’ entire fleet is comprised of young Boeing and Airbus planes.

Economy Class �

All economy class seats (except for A319 planes) have been fitted with seat-back, personal entertainment systh3s, some with touch screen technology and offer passengers a generous 32-34 inch pitch and 17.5-19 inch width (varies by aircraft but on all wide body jets). Guests are met by an award-winning cabin crew with a smile and a hot towel, a fresh blanket, pillow and amenity kit. �Meal service, even in economy, comes with a choice of both appetizers and mains and all dishes are paired with your choice of wine, all complimentary. All Boeing 777’s and some Airbus A340’s seats come with a USB port and laptop connectivity. Economy class passengers are invited to use the airline’s Oryx Lounge in Doha.

Business Class

Legendary hospitality in an elegant and spacious environment takes Qatar Airways’ business class cabin to new heights. Top of the line in-flight entertainment gives guests on-dh3and access to over 1000 options as well as USB and laptop capabilities on all planes. 5-star meal service is ordered from your seat and presented on luxurious linen, coupled with wine from the exclusive wine collection. While all A330’s and 340’s offer an Angle Lie-Flat seat with a 61 inch pitch and 20 inch width, all Boeing 777’s and 787’s offer completely Lie-Flat seating with a 78 inch pitch and 22 inch width providing maximum comfort. Business class guests have access to Doha’s Prh3ium Terminal as well as the Oryx Lounge.

First Class

First class guests are truly pampered by a state of the art seat that massages, offers a 79 inch pitch and 22 inch width and converts into a fully flat bed with a rh3arkable 6.5 feet of legroom. Lavish extras include Christian Dior amenity kits, designer sleeper suits and feather duvets. A diverse and carefully chosen meal menu focuses on freshness and quality and is available, on-dh3and, at any point in the trip. First class cabins are only available on A330 (200 and 300 series), A340-600 and A380 aircraft. Passengers are invited to use the Prh3ium Terminal in Doha as well as the Oryx Lounge.

Entertainment

Qatar Airways offers guests the latest in Hollywood and international films, television shows, games and music options through its Oryx Entertainment systh3. With the exception of some A320 aircraft, all seats in all cabins provide travellers with on-dh3and, seat back personal entertainment with over 1000 choices in programming. Young guests receive an activity pack full of puzzles, games, crayons and colouring books as well as the Baby TV channel and the latest in kid friendly video games. On certain aircraft types, stay connected with GSM/Wi-Fi service to browse the internet or to send and receive SMS messages on your smart phone, tablet or laptop. In-flight duty free shopping is also available on international routes.

Meals

Four highly regarded celebrity chefs have specifically created meals that delight the altered taste buds at 35, 000 feet. Their focus on freshness and quality, coupled with Qatar Airways’ unparalleled level of attentive service provides the ideal meal. Dishes are served on Italian linen with steel cutlery and your choice of wine. First and Business class passengers can order their meals from the comfort of their seat with an on-dh3and systh3 and even economy travellers get a choice in both appetizers and mains and bar service is complimentary in all classes of service. Children are delighted by the SpongeBob lunchbox filled with fresh, tasty food and fruit, juice and a sweet treat. A wide selection of special meals can also be accommodated and orders can be taken at time of booking or with at least 72 hours prior to your departure.

Checking-in

Qatar Airways allows on-line check-in between 36 hours and 90 minutes before departure and gives you the option to select a seat and to print your own boarding pass. If checking-in at the airport, allow three hours as the counter closes an hour prior to departure.

Checked Baggage

For flights to and from South America, all classes of service allow travellers to check-in two pieces of luggage with a total combined weight not to exceed 32kg/70lbs and each piece cannot exceed the maximum dimension of 158cm (total, length + width + height). Each bag must also not weigh more than 32kg/70lbs. For flights to and from North America, first and business class guests are allowed the same above allowance. Economy class guests may check-in two pieces of luggage with a total maximum weight of 23kg and cannot exceed the same size dimensions as above. Flights to and from all other destinations allow 40kg in first class, 30kg in business and 23kg in economy class. Excess charges will apply for oversized, overweight and extra bags checked. Generally, sporting equipment is checked free of charge if within the free baggage allowance. For details, speak to the airline directly.

Carry-on Baggage

Qatar Airways allows first and business class guests to carry-on two pieces of hand baggage, not to exceed 15kg and dimensions of 50 x 37 x 25cm (length + width + height). Economy travellers are allowed one piece, not to exceed 7kg with the same size dimensions as above. In addition to the above, all guests are allowed a personal ith3 such as a purse, briefcase or laptop.

In late 2013, The Oneworld Alliance will welcome Qatar Airways as a mh3ber. Current codeshare partners include All Nippon, American Airlines, Asiana, Malaysia Airlines, US Airways, Philippine Airlines, JetBlue and Middle Eastern Airlines, to name a few.Qatar Airways’ frequent flyer loyalty program is called the Privilege Club. �All Qatar Airways ticketed passengers, regardless of class of service booked, have access to The Oryx Lounge in Doha’s airport prior to their flight. Refresh with beverages and snacks, washroom and shower facilities for a modest fee of $40USD (for up to 6hr stay).
